We stuck close to home

. . . this week as we worked to get Koko accustomed to her new home and to get ready for our big camping trip that starts next month. We took Possum in for annual service, had the truck checked out, and began introducing Koko to camper life.

Staying close to home (and a desire to beat the heat) allowed more time for sewing. I finished up not one, but two quilts this week including “Nine Squared” shown here.

I also took my camera for a couple of walks around the ‘hood. There are not a lot of critters this time of year - I guess they hate the heat as much as we do - but I still managed to find a few to photograph. To view all of the Images of the Week, click here.
