A quiet week around the ‘hood

. . . but I still managed to find some fun things to photograph. And some fun things found me, like this juvenile Rat/Corn snake that was hanging out under Carl’s car one evening this week and the cute gray squirrel having breakfast in our neighborhood park during our morning dog walk.

Conditions at our local diving sites are still very poor, so we also spent some time hiking at McCarty Ranch Preserve and Green River Park; and watching a rocket launch from our driveway (this still amazes me). Despite the fact that we have not been able to visit our underwater friends, this is the time of year when Florida doesn’t suck. Click here for more images from this week around the ‘hood.
