It’s beginning to look
. . . a lot like Christmas. Here in Port St. Lucie, that includes PSL in Lights. They offer a downloadable list of places with notable Christmas light displays for a driving tour (we have not done this) and deck out the newly renovated Port District and Botanical Garden in lights. We picked the perfect evening for a stroll through the garden and park and truly enjoyed the festive environment.
However you celebrate the holidays, I hope they are this merry and bright. And, if Santa is checking his list, I certainly hope he finds you in the naughty column.
These are some of my favorite PSL lights. (click on individual images to view full screen)
We also had a chance to catch “Roadside Reverie” at the Vero Beach Art Museum. To quote the museum’s promo - “This solo exhibition, replete with over 40 large-scale glass sculptures by John Miller (American, b. 1966) comprising hundreds of individually molded and blown glass components, . . . “ The exhibit included a video showing John Miller creating one of his giant cupcakes (similar to the one below) at the Corning Glass Museum. It was truly fascinating.
