Image of the Week
Image of the Week started with an email to a few friends that included a photo from the past week’s activities. They were still in warm, sunny Bonaire; we were in cold, snowy New Jersey. I followed up with another email the following week and another photo. It became a thing.
10+ years later I still email a photo to the same friends and more each week. Since technology has evolved, I also post an album of photos from the past week and provide a link to that album.
Now I have a web site and Image of the Week has morphed into a blog. Check back each Sunday to find out what we have seen around the ‘hood and beyond.

Did you see the comet?
We did! On the least hazy evening, we roamed the ‘hood looking for a good vantage point. In the process, we got to see an awesome sunset.
Where did the sun go?
We are paying the price for the beautiful weather we had during the first half of our trip.

After a little more time in the mountains of Pennsylvania, we moved on to the coast of New Jersey.

We discovered Summersville Lake last year, but only spent a day. We are back this year for a longer stay to more fully explore the area.

We stuck close to home
We stuck close to home this week, getting Koko accustomed to her new home and getting ready for our big camping trip that starts next month.
A little aqua therapy
A little aqua therapy helped ease the sadness brought on by the loss of our sweet dog, Kodi. Kodi crossed the rainbow bridge on Monday.
I wish I’d brought the good camera . . .
In an effort to be free from heavy equipment when beach diving this week, I brought a smaller, lighter camera. An action I lived to regret - over and over and over!
Bonaire and back again
This week we spent a few more days on Bonaire then headed home just behind the deluge in Miami.
